Interia Management LLC (formerly JMS Management) has a proven track record of managing multi-family apartment buildings in New York City. We specialize in Rent Stabilized buildings and have an in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing this type of real property.

Our duties include accounts receivable (rents), cash disbursements (expenses), all repairs, and filling vacant apartments with qualified tenants. We have a full staff of service people on call 24 hours a day including licensed plumbers, electricians, contractors, exterminators, and painters. We are on-call around the clock to address any tenant or building emergencies. We work with several real estate attorneys who represent us in non-payment and eviction proceedings.

TENANT SELECTION AND SCREENING

Finding the right tenant for your rental unit is one of the most important elements of running a rent-stabilized building in New York. The complex nature of the rent-stabilization rules and regulations in New York City make it imperative that you have the right tenant in your rental unit from the onset.

Brokers and real estate agencies are not involved after they provide you with a tenant, but since we deal with the tenants on a continual basis, it is in our best interest to select only the top candidates. Our expertise allows us to select the best tenants and the ones who will bring the greatest value to the building. Our interest in selecting the best tenant is tied directly to the owner's interest in having the best tenant in the building.
